Hi, I’m Mike Klodnicki.

With help from a stack of credit cards and a handful of contract workers, I’ve designed, built and shipped hardware and software being used in clinical trials around the world. And I’m still doing most of the soldering.

Fresh out of graduate school – with no prior corporate, startup or engineering experience – I moved across the country as a solo founder, with nowhere to live and no means to pay rent. Less than a year later, I had transformed my idea from concept to reality, sold prototypes to customers, pitched thousands of people from a stage, and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars from angel investors.

Not exactly what I expected to be doing. But it’s never dull.
